cwl crest“The Catholic Women’s League of Canada is a national organization rooted in gospel values calling its members to holiness through service to the people of God.”

When you become a member of the St. James Parish CWL, you are Supporting the efforts of the League members across Canada who are diligently working to promote the teachings of the Catholic Church; Part of the largest national organization of Catholic women in Canada with a tradition of service to others as expressed in its motto “For God and Canada”.  The League is the united voice of all Catholic women.

Closer to home, it is an opportunity to meet, participate and share, with fellow parishioners, activities that contribute to the life and vitality of the church, family and community.

The St. James CWL hosts annual events in our parish such as the Christmas Bazaar in November; the Poor Boys’ Luncheon on Ash Wednesday; Lenten Parish Retreat; Communion Breakfast in June; Seniors’ Christmas Luncheon in December.

Currently, our membership at the parish is 110 members, and we are hoping to grow that number!  To be a member of the CWL is a privilege – to join your fellow women in our Catholic faith to be one united voice in our parish and in our country!

New members are always welcome, and I would encourage all women of our parish to please consider joining this beautiful organization!

God bless St. James Parish!

Thank you,
CWL Executive, St. James Parish, Oakville
